Eleanor, Jacqueline, and Hillary and the DT’s (Donald Trump)

Being retired has given me more time to discover books that I never had the time to read, and now with the advent of audible.com, and squid.com, I have the opportunity to listen to many of the books that are on the New York Times Best Sellers List. I find myself attracted more to the NON-FICTION books. So it is only fitting that I picked the top of the list, “Killing the Rising: How America Vanquished World War II Japan” By Bill O’Reilly, Martin Dugard, and narrated by ┬áRobert Petkoff, and Bill O’Reilly. ┬áIt has been quite an unbelievable listening experience, the book emphasizes many of the atrocities of the Japan armies, and the profound discipline that I never new President Harry Truman commanded. However it was the conversation that he had with Eleanor Roosevelt, right before he learned that is boss, Franklin Delano Roosevelt has died.
